How to Get from Jardin to Salento

So, you've made it to Jardin? That's great news! Whilst we would love this wonderful little Colombian town to remain forever off the beaten track, it turns out it was a little too fabulous a secret to keep..

However, not matter how much you fell in love with Jardin, you always have to move on, and if the next stop happens to be Salento, you'll need to know how to get there!

So, without further a-do, here's all you need to know to find your way from Jardin to Salento - accurate from July 2017 thanks to one of our lovely readers!

1. Jardin to Riosucio

8 a.m. bus | three hours (approx) | 19,000 COP

This route is actually relatively short, but given the road quality (you will be bouncing all over the place) it takes much longer - the spectacular scenery along the way more than makes up for it though!

2. Riosucio to Pereria

11.30 a.m. bus | three hours (approx) | 17,500 COP

There are frequent buses along this route, so even if you miss the 11.30 a.m. you'll be able to pick up an alternative connection easily.

3. Pereria to Salento

3 p.m. bus | one hour (approx) | 7,000 COP

Again, if your connection is running late, there are alternative departures at 4.40 p.m. and 6.20 p.m.
