We spent this entire month in Nicaragua, taking on the dirt roads of Ometepe by motorbike, the colonial grandeur of Granada by foot and the tropical paradise that is Little Corn - a must see on any trip to this country!

With a few sick days and a few more work days we didn't cover as many miles as we would normally, but considering our travel time in these few weeks included 31 hours on a cargo boat, we think we deserved a slightly quieter month.

And despite indulging in fresh fish and the odd lobster on one of our many restaurant trips in the Corn Islands, we still came in under budget - almost certainly something to do with the crazy low accommodation costs in Granada (absolutely a budget backpacker's dream location)
